FMCS for a Multi-Country Supplier Network

Ecomed Disposable sources from four overseas factories. Each shipment was being held back at customs without valid BIS marks against the applicable IS codes.

Multiple foreign factories meant multiple FMCS engagements running in parallel. BIS officer travel scheduling was the single biggest variable.

BMS sequenced the four applications to optimise BIS auditor travel, acted as AIR (Authorised Indian Representative) across all four engagements, ran pre-audits at each factory, and managed the post-licence surveillance plan from a single dashboard.

All four foreign factories licenced within 8 months. Customs hold-ups dropped to zero. Lead-time to retail shrank by an average of 18 days.
